Chevrolet have given their humble Blazer EV a stock car make-over with the reveal of the Blazer EV.R NASCAR Concept. After NASCAR hinted at an electric stock-car racing series in 2024, manufacturers are starting to get into the groove of the idea, releasing concept cars for the yet to be confirmed racing series. With the use of three six-phase motors that can instantly rev to more than 15,000 rpm, the EV.R boasts over 1,300 hp, double that of the 670 hp V8-powered Next Gen stock cars that race in the NASCAR Cup Series today.
